2008 MAINE LAKES CONFERENCE

The MAINE LAKES CONFERENCE will take place at Colby College in Waterville on June 21, 2008.

“Who Really Owns the Water and How Do We Protect It?” is the Conference We’ll explore it in depth by hearing all sides of the major water quality and water conservation issues facing Maine citizens.

We’ll look at how we can balance individual and corporate rights with the long term public interest on big issues like commercial water extraction, large land development proposals, and funding for the rising costs of invasive species control and management.
